I took my dog to City of Angels Veterinary Culver City. They milked me dry; put my dog through bunch of costly tests ~ when all he needed was a biopsy. His blood pressure had dropped to 40 because of weakness due to Prednisone and general anethesia. He stayed there for two days, and on the 2nd day they called me to say his blood pressure had stabilized ~ that he had no cancer (sigh of relief). They told me I could take him home the next day. When at 5am he had taken a turn for the worse, the night shift doctors did not call me, as I would've rushed to be by his side. They waited till the specialist showed up at 9am to give me updates. I asked why no one called me sooner; he was cavalier and said that he had just come in. He said Sam would have to stay another day, but I should visit him right away. I drove like the wind. They called again at 9:30 to tell me that he was being intubated, and the final grim call was at 9:43 to let me know Sam had passed. Needless to say, I found his motionless body and I was sobbing and asking questions. But they were cruel and insensitive, and wouldn't admit that they should've called me during those early morning hours, so I could be there to comfort him and to tell him how much I loved him. He died amongst strangers. I forked out $4000~ money that I took out of my Ira account, and they gave me a dead dog, when all he had was an infection. So what is my point you ask? I wrote a review about this place, and Yelp removed it. They also removed another previous bad review. This person emailed me to tell me that the place is awful with rude staff.
